Beef and Sheep Conference 2024

The agri benchmark Conference 2024 was proudly hosted by Atria, in the picturesque city of Seinäjöki, Finland.

For the first time in our history, we held the Beef, Sheep, Pig and Poultry together in one place and in a row of one entire week. The Global Forum was the interface between the Beef / Sheep and the Pig / Poultry part.

The programme comprised:

• International Farm comparisons (benchmarking)
• Country presentations
• Industry presentations
• Latest developments and future outlook of global and country-specific beef and sheep production
• Results from common work on GHG emission Baseline

• With an audience of 250 and a progamme covering all aspects of global and Finnish meat prduction, the Global Forum was the highlight of the Conference A Global Forum LINK

• A field trip to various beef (cow-calf and beef finishing) and sheep farms as well as Atria's own feedmill A-Rehu
• Social events like visiting a distillery as well as BBQs and sauna events

A summary report will be published in the 4th (fourth) quarter of the year.
