The Thünen Institute of Farm Economics is involved in the EU-funded tender project: “Assessing farmers’ cost of compliance with EU legislation in the fields of environment, animal welfare and food safety”
Within this project typical farms for the production of apples (four countries) and wine grapes (six countries) are established and analysed. These farms form the basis for the establishment of the agri benchmark Horticulture Network which will continuously be expanded to more countries and crops.
