The Pig Conference 2016 took place in Mataró (30 km North of Barcelona city), from 29 June to 01. July.
In the Pig Conferences, results of our benchmark activities are presented, specific topics are addressed in plenary sessions or workshops, and the next steps in the Network are discussed and decided commonly by the partners.
The programme is complemented by pre-conference trainings, field trips to farms and agri-business companies and invited speaker presentations.
This year, the Pig Conference is linked to the annual meeting of the InterPIG network to explore common interests and possible future cooperation between the two networks. There is already some overlap in terms of partnerships from several countries.
