Network
A pilot study on trout farms in Turkey, Denmark, and Germany served as the foundation of our network. From there, it expanded to include aquaculture of carp, pangasius, salmon, seabream, and seabass, covering a wide range of production countries. Besides aquaculture production, our network also includes fishing vessels, such as the brown shrimp fishery in Germany. The core of the Fish Network consists of experts with deep knowledge of aquaculture and fisheries production systems. Universities and research institutions are key contacts, while producer organisations, government ministries, and advisory companies are valued partners as well. The world map displays all the countries currently represented in the Fish Network.
